Last week we announced that through July 28, SIP Minute calls to America are 2.28¢/min, and we set new records in SIP Minutes sales. We also told you about the new Xten 2.0 Lite for PC and Mac and we had record downloads. In fact, we have so many new products, announcements and promotions in the coming weeks it is hard to send just one Call a week!
In April, we announced the 5 Free Minutes program, allowing all of our SIP Adapter, Phone and Minutes customers to make five free one-minute calls on their SIPphone account to 11 countries. Over the past three months, you have made thousands of calls around the world saving thousands of dollars.
But today we are announcing an overhaul to the the 5 Free Minutes program. Here is how we are making a good thing better.
Avaliable to ALL customers...
5 Free Minutes are no longer restricted to SIP adapter, phone and Minutes customer. Now EVERY SIPphone, including our free softphone customers can take advantage of 5 Free Minutes.
to call more countries...
We have expanded the program from 11 to 30 countries! The program now includes: USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, UK, Ireland, Italy, San Marino, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Chile, and Argentina. (Bold countries include mobile and landline phones, non-bold countries are limited to landline phones. By the way, we will give a free SIP Handset to the first person who makes a call to someone they know in San Marino...send us an email with the info so we can verify and send you your gift :)
with greater flexibility
"Plus" customers, those who have purchased hardware or $20 of Minutes from SIPphone are no longer restricted to one-minute calls. So now, each day "Plus" customers can make as long as a five-minute call free to over 2.5 BILLION people around the world!!! Our "Basic" customers, those who are using a free softphone or have configured hardware for our network they purchased somewhere other than SIPphone or an approved reseller are restricted to 5 one-minute calls each day.
Imagine, you get two and a half hours of free international calling each month. That's 30 free hours of international calling each year with SIPphone's free service! If you called China or Europe with AT&T's default consumer international rates, 30 hours would cost you over $5,000-$9,000! (Source: AT&T's International Rate Table, the default consumer rate to China is $5/min and $3/min to most of Europe, source: AT&T International Rate Table).
Forget "in-network". Forget nights and weekends. With 5 Free Minutes, you get free calls to the PSTN network, everyday, anytime you want to call, covering 30 countries and over 2.5 billion people!
We hope you like all the new products and we encourage your feedback in our customer forum.
